Why do I create?

I believe in the power of art as a healing medium. In our fast-paced world, we often overlook our fundamental need to relax and rejuvenate—not just our bodies, but our souls, minds, and senses.

My pieces are designed to offer a sanctuary, not just for homes, but for individuals.
Inspired by the Greek word "phainomai," meaning "to appear," and the principles of phenomenology, I invite viewers to gain knowledge and feel peace by simply looking at what appears and personally relating to what is perceived.

Through my art, I aim to provide moments of escape, allowing people to let go of their worries and find a peaceful space for their inner selves, fostering tranquillity and inner peace. Rather than telling my stories, I prefer to ask people what they feel or see in my paintings, encouraging an attitude of gaining insight into the essence of things based on what we see, not on what we know.

Pause, breath, relax, enjoy the moment, enjoy you being you!
